Couldn’t help but feel envious at Easter Road yesterday. Half an hour’s walk from Waverley, four decent looking stands on the footprint of the original site.

That is exactly what we should have done over the last 20 years but Milne never intended redeveloping Pittodrie. Instead we are supposedly moving 6 miles out of town to a stadium which can only be accessed by road. If it does not work (and I have my doubts) the very future of the club is at risk. Since the early eighties we have gone from having one of the best all seated stadiums in the country to one of the worst due to Milne's neglect.

Look around Europe, modern stadiums are not in the town centre.

True but the issue with the out of town stadium was the transport to & from. What we’re proposing is different to any other club, on account that ours will be more difficult to get to & therefore, more likely to affect attendances
