That's a disappointing amount, if true. But are the club in a position to turn down when we also have Kerr Smith, Ross Graham, Nathan Cooney, Adam Hutchison all young centre backs also on the books?

It depends how old the player is, so how long we've been paying and developing them is a factor. The younger they are the less it would be. That's how I understand it anyway.

I think in normal times we can reject a bid like £300k for someone with as much promise as Neilson. But right now we cant.
