I'll take any news spreading through x with a pinch of salt. Its only a few weeks since farages mates were spreading news that an announcement was imminent that would see the downfall of starmer. Still waiting on that one.

Let me explain this to you. MI5 immediately reports to the goverment, anything that is connected evidence wise to Islamic terrorism. So on that front alone, Starmers government would have been well aware who this guy was/is and his back ground. Yet stuck with the "he's from South Wales" line, like hes the son of a coal miner named Taffy. Lies run deep with UK governments now.

With regard to Southport. The first news published said he was Welsh. It seems he was born in Cardiff. Would I be correct in saying that's in Wales? Those same reports said he was brought up as Christian, which he was.

Those original reports could only be lies if he a) wasn't born in Cardiff, which he was and b) not brought up as a Christian, which he was.

If someone actually KNOWS at what point the BBC became aware of his "turning" and that turns out to have been before the original broadcasts, then both a) and b) are still true. If none of us KNOWS when the BBC became aware of the lad's radicalisation and at which point they corrected their original story then we CAN"T say they lied. As I wrote in a post at the time. It's very likely the radicalisation, if known at the time, was kept quiet with the express intention of avoiding the rioting we saw. A sensible idea. Unfortunately the usual suspects in public life and trouble causers on X started promoting rumours and asking questions that could have been left a day or two. It was those rumours that caused the rioting. Those who made the "announcements" quite likely got the response they wanted. Riots.

Not all true though is it? Conversely, the rumours said he was muslim and it really does appear, that was very much true, despite government denials. This is word play with twists. The other rumour was he was a recent asylum seeker? Ironically, perpetrated by a muslin in Pakistan, not the usual suspect, you are implying.

Perhaps, just perhaps, the government and police should come clean a lot sooner, rather than play smoke and mirrors.

Except that, those of us who criticised the likes of Johnson, Hancock, Truss, Braverman, Patel, Anderson, Cummings etc were all proved right. One by one they all lost their jobs and then their very significant majority.

First its amusing how Pearson, who was once famously left wing, has become such a bitter and twisted right wing shrill in her later years, I guess one says whatever one believes will pay well? Unanswered, only by Putin himself. That question comes on the table, the closer Putin comes to losing. If he loses, he will be ousted and done away with. What does he have to lose?

It is interesting to note that Putin hinted a couple of months back that if a nuclear power (that would probably mean US and/or UK) got involved, he'd see that as a declaration of war and act accordingly. Should someone remind him that he's now being aided and abetted by a country with Nuclear weapons, North Korea?

Was he, or was he not born in Cardiff? Yes he was.

Was he raised as a Christian? Yes he was.

Was he 17, and therefore a minor, at the time of the attack? Yes he was.

Is it illegal for the police to publish the name, ethnicity, religion etc of a minor? Yes it is.

For what it's worth, given the truth in the 4 lines above this and TTR having mentioned the rumours on "social media" being the cause of the rioting, it's perfectly understandable that the police didn't mention, IF they even knew in the first couple of days, him being radicalised as they KNEW it would lead to riots by the very people who ended up rioting. Any failure to release information will have been bound by 2 things. 1. The Law not allowing that sort of information about a minor to be published and 2. the wish to try to prevent rioting.

So, those getting anti about "not being told the truth" should remember that UK Law prevented any and all personal information being published and that, following the Law, in an attempt to prevent a riot, is exactly what a Government/the Police should do.
