You’re missing out on some great times. I’m a bit too old for it now like

A good article on the BBC about Alex Ferguson's work with dementia sufferers.

Jayden Richardson signs for Boreham Wood, in the English sixth tier.

Hope the loon manages to get his career back on track.

That's now two players from our summer 22 recruitment playing sixth tier football in England.

And a third I believe is still without a club? But also one has ended up in Serie A and another La Liga.
Just a crazy season all round…

As the post-mortem is carried out on Rob Milsom assaulter “Naisey”, one of the View From The Terrace media whore presenters includes this statement in today’s Herald:

“First, there’s Lawrence Shankland. Last season he was a goalscoring machine, racking up 24 league goals for the campaign and 31 in total. This campaign he has been a shadow of his former self.
A regression of sorts was expected. Shankland has long been a deadly finisher, but some of his efforts, such as in wins over Aberdeen, St Mirren and Hibs, were special even by his standards. But nobody could have foreseen his form dropping to this extent. He not only hasn’t scored – now eight games in all competitions – he has scarcely looked like doing so. As he approaches the final six months of
his contract it now must be Hearts who are delighted the player chose not to sign a bumper contract offer midway through last term.”

In other words, a huffy, idle pr1ck who’s had one decent season when we were struggling to challenge.

    Who knew?

Also, I’ve just discovered that Finn Yeats, former Don and more importantly, former Maroon (on loan from Pittodrie last season) scored Falkirk’s second goal against the green filth yesterday.

He’s got a bit of a fitba pedigree. His brother Kieran is a former Maroon, now at Turriff United, managed by his uncle Warren Cummings. Their dad Craig Yeats played in the Highland League for a long time, including time with Keith and Huntly, and their granda is Tom Cummings, a coach and manager in the Highland League, now retired.

Aberdeen is hosting the Scottish Masters fitba on 14th November. It's to be live on BBC Scotland.

Aberdeen: Russell Anderson, Eoin Jess, Joe Lewis, Derek Young, Jonny Hayes, Gavin Rae, Kevin McNaughton and Lee Miller.

The other teams are a couple of diddies from Glasgow, and a team from Dundee who are targeting second place.

Couple of those names didn’t strike me as being particularly associated with us.
Looked up to see far Gavin Rae was fae - it had somehow completely escaped me that he’s Aberdonian.
I just think of him as a hun. Sorry Gav loon.
