If we don't beat Stockport next Tuesday, it will be the first time this season that Notts go 4 league games without a win.

Last time we went 4 without a league win was when Mo Ross was assistant - which ended up being 6 without a win at the point he got sacked. Before that Ardley had one 4 match winless run in the 20/21 season. For season 19/20 there was one lengthy winless run of 5 (no worse than 3 otherwise).

Credit where credit is due I thought that performance was a good effort by Notts. Due to the enforced absences I was worried when I saw the line-up of the team and, even more so, after listening for the first 10 minutes, when it seemed that a comprehensive defeat could be on the cards. Hopefully this spirit will get us some points over the next few tough league games and, with the favourable run-in (at least on paper), put us in a position to secure a play off place.

Well that neutral sure seemed to be very impressed by both sides in a thoroughly entertaining 3-3 draw.

With the managers involved the good football on display is no surprise but the 3 goals apiece sure was. Great to see RR turning on the magic again.

I still don't see it being a penalty, if it did touch his hand it didnt effect the ball in any way...

By the very strict letter of the law it was a penalty because his arm made contact with the ball while in what could be described as an 'unnatural' position. Saying that, as penalties go you would struggle to find a softer one. It didn't look deliberate and it barely affected the flight of the ball. If it is deemed an offence in this case giving around an 80% chance of scoring when the actual chance was 1% is an incredibly harsh punishment. I wonder what VAR would have made of it?

I have always hated handball decisions that result in penalties especially when they are crosses or away from goal. Soft as sh!t IMO and a cheat penalty whether unnatural position or not.

If it ain't goal bound I'm not having it
