    Dont agree. Back in 2016 Farage said that if Remain win the referendum then the U.K. steel industry is dead ( or words to that effect)

    Remoaners have kept the withdrawal going and hey, the knock on effects have killed British Steel

    He was right of course but in 2016 there was only 10% (if that) of the steel industry left in the UK the other 90% went to the wall exactly the way Grist suggests.

    I would say that the selling off of the steelworks was the bigger factor to be honest with you.
