"Biden’s autopen signatures were illegitimate, Congressional committee finds. Democrats exploited tool to enact policies without former president’s knowledge, report says."
Findings of the congressional report into the former president’s use of the device, which is used to replicate an individual’s signature, were released on Tuesday. The report claims Mr Biden’s inner circle orchestrated a “cover-up of the president’s cognitive decline” and exploited the tool to enact policies without his knowledge. It says Mr Biden’s use of the autopen should be considered invalid until documented proof is provided of the former president personally approving the decisions.
“Barring evidence of executive actions taken during the Biden presidency showing that president Biden indeed took a particular executive action, the committee deems those actions taken through use of the autopen as void,” the report reads. “The cost of the scheme to hide the fallout of president Biden’s diminished physical and mental acuity was great but will likely never be fully calculated.”
Mr Biden denies aides conducted presidential duties in his name, calling such claims “ridiculous and false.” Mike Johnson, the House speaker, said the findings could have “major implications” for the legality of Mr Biden’s actions as president. “The president was checked out of his job for quite some time, and everybody knows it,” Mr Johnson said. As one of his last acts before leaving office, Mr Biden granted his son, Hunter, a presidential pardon. The 55-year-old was due to be sentenced on firearms charges in December 2025.
Well, well, correct me if I'm right. So, as I keep asking, just who was running the USA, it certainly wasn't Sleepy Joe. And of course I can find no mention of this report on either the BBC or Grauniad websites. Lefties burying the bad news again.
No point in carrying on with this discourse mon ami, the Yanks are as mad as a box of frogs. Best to keep our noses out and just thank God we live on this side of the Atlantic.![]()

No doubt following the Trump family's restoration, you can live on the estate, it’s categorizable as one of the world’s best homes – comprising a 20,000-square-foot ballroom (with $7 million gold leaf features) and Spanish revival-style arches and mosaics throughout the residence. It’s also the site of an exclusive private club, attracting the social elite from Clitheroe and across the globe.![]()
You would probably hop on the first plane back mon ami...
“There is no literature or poetry in this White House. No music. No Kennedy Center award celebrations.
There are no pets in this White House.
No loyal man’s best friend. No Socks the family cat.
No kids’ science fairs. No times when this president takes off his blue suit-red tie uniform and becomes human, except when he puts on his white shirt-khaki pants uniform and hides from Americans to play golf.
There are no images of the first family enjoying themselves together in a moment of relaxation.
No Obamas on the beach in Hawaii moments, or Bushes fishing in Kennebunkport, no Reagans on horseback, no Kennedys playing touch football on the Cape.
I was thinking the other day of the summer when George H couldn’t catch a fish and all the grandkids made signs and counted the fish-less days.
And somehow, even if you didn’t even like GHB, you got caught up in the joy of a family that loved each other and had fun.
Where did that country go?
Where did all of the fun and joy and expressions of love and happiness go?
We used to be a country that did the ice bucket challenge and raised millions for charity.
We used to have a president that calmed and soothed the nation instead dividing it.
And a First Lady that planted a garden instead of ripping one out.
We are rudderless and joyless.
We have lost the cultural aspects of society that make America great.
We have lost our mojo, our fun, our happiness.
The cheering on of others. Gone.
The shared experiences of humanity that makes it all worth it. Gone.
The challenges AND the triumphs that we shared and celebrated.
The unique can-do spirit Americans have always been known for. Gone.
We have lost so much in so short a time."
