Noticed last night that Ali Crawford went on loan to Tranmere from Bolton for the rest of the season. What a signing that would have been for us. Exactly what we're missing.
Where has all this 'people staying we' re down' chat come from? I've seen one person say that.
During the window I've been getting more frustrated about lack of any signings or even rumors of signings.
Then it got me thinking this morning. This window could have been MUCH WORSE! This window could have been on a selling GMS/Armstrong level. If we had sold Benji and shankland and then not replaced them (which would have been likely due to finances) then it would have had the same effect to what happened back in 2015. Our two best players being sold back then caused massive problems and we still had a decent enough squad, what would it have been like this time if we had sold both them?
I still think we could have got someone in, other teams were still active in the window and we seemed to be doing nothing but at the same time we've made panic buys in this window before and it hasn't worked so I'm hoping it doesn't come back to haunt us. Maybe i'm just being optimistic this morning haha
If we stay up, no one will care about this window. If we go down, well...... 🤔

Is there any of these signings that if they had come to United people would be overly excited about? Would you swap Harkes for any of these midfielders, Connolly for any of the defenders, McNulty for any of the strikers?
I wouldn't say that anyone has really improved their squad
