Interesting - I had no idea that the Norwegians were such dominant market leaders in Europe - and I imagine an impeccable source in the Lancet.

Lessons indeed to be learned - maybe eat more fish, lingonberries and reindeer?

or leave the EU - oh no we've done that

Had what I hope to be my last Covid test on Saturday. Needed a negative result to be allowed to fly back on Sunday. The Dutch are expected to announce that people travelling from the UK no longer have to take a test prior to travelling to NL.

... and then, this morning on the Dutch news, new outbreak in China, some cities on lockdown. Here's hoping all (geographical) European countries knock travel from China on the head immediately....... but they won't will they? They're politicians and they rarely ever learn.

Just had a look at the new surge in China. It seems it's Omicron so, hopefully, not particularly dangerous, just highly infectious.

    2. They(governments) have a new deflection topic with which to focus the populations on.

Announced this lunchtime..... NL to drop all measures from tomorrow week.

They still advise frequent handwashing, not getting too close if it can be avoided, self test if you have symptoms and isolation if you test positive. All just advice and not rules.

All travel restrictions to be dropped here from Friday, MA, despite a rise in cases.
Make of that what you will...I really hope those in power don’t take their eye off the ball because of the distractions caused by Putin.
