The Sun reckons Leicester offered 500k for Neilson in the window but the young lad didn't fancy it. Fair play to him.

Would've been a nice wee earner of course. Nice to hear of a kid wanting to stay put and learn his trade though. He just needs to look at Freeman to see what can happen. Now currently on loan at Peterhead after dreaming of English Premiership stardom.

I'd have taken half that mate. £500K is an incredible price for him.

Similar might happen tbh. Nothing we can do about it if the kid doesn't want to move. We're safe in the knowledge however that we'll get a decent development fee given he's been with us for 11 years already.
