The best barometer for this crowd nonsense is that in 1987 at Tynecastle the Funny Lot were given the home end and, let’s not be churlish, were given it as even at that time they probably had a bigger latent support and indeed on the day iirc had slightly more supporters in attendance. Fast forward 40 years and if that were ever to happen again, WE would be getting the home end. By an absolute country mile and it’s not up for debate.

Tbf it has been a tough league cup group but they are still putting in decent performances even if the results haven?t been great

Airdrie avoided relegation from championship and Alloa almost got into the league one play offs - top sides imho

Montrose and Bonnyrigg will also be tough opponents for our friends up the road but this is all good prep for the season starting
