    Aye, that was me.
It’s maybe understandable that a few were struggling.
McGinn not long back from an op.
    Bryson & Ojo haven’t played.
    Warm & humid.
So as you say, maybe a sub might’ve helped.
Still, 1-1 isn’t that bad, albeit they were a poor side.
I’d worry about Rijeka if we did get through though.

But against a team like that we should be winning.
    Poor performance. Again.
We SHOULD get through but Rijeka will easily beat us I’m afraid.

    Plus point?
Think Ojo will be a good addition once he’s up to speed.
^^^This again,i dont get why Ojo was getting slagged, thought he played well apart from pen, looks like a Ryan Jack type player that keeps ball moving, performance overall tonight was underwhelming again, still not convinced we've improved from last year but play Wilson up front instead of the donkey and we will improve

I thought Ojo was poor , but I’m certainly not writing him off seeing as it was not only his first start for us , but also his first competitive game of the season.

And. I think the penalty against him was extremely harsh. The Georgian lad just turned into Ojo who literally could do nothing to avoid contact being made. And of course the lad threw himself to the ground as if he’d been shot

Agree with this post. Ojo will be good - he'll take the ball off the back 4, make himself available, take the ball under pressure, and keep it moving. My worry is that Bryson and Ferguson might be too similar to each other and neither is a creative player which I think is what we could do with in the middle. Also agree that Wilson up top instead of Cosgrove would improve the whole team in terms of style of play, retaining the ball, creating chances etc

Folk with an eye for the game know Simmy.
Considering it was his first game in 2 & a half months he did well.

    Seldom gave it away, strong.
Ryan Jack with a bit more dig.

IMO we need a right sided centre half & a centre forward (Wilson at 9).
Penalties won’t mask the fact Cosgrove has no game intelligence or touch.

We could be playing a part time team from San Marino’s 8th tier and somehow we’d still have to find the positives in a score draw away from home. We look disorganized going forward. The Sell Cosgrove Movement starts here.

    Positives
Away goal, we should be better at home so should win.
    Negatives
We played ****e, hit n hope hoofball football that was never aimed at a player, we were really slow. It was a bit of a worry on how easy they were playing over our backline and nearly getting it which another will really hurt us.
Thought McInnes got the Taylor sub wrong and Wright should have come one and he should have made another sub at the end. It's hot use the extra legs on the bench

1-1 away from home not the worst but despite some improvements we still look like we will be fragile against better quality opposition.
If the spoiling nature of game reoccurs in 2nd leg then we have fans at both linesman and really need to "guide" them to make the correct calls , bookings, penalties etc.
