My thoughts exactly.

Increasing the number of teams in the play offs would inevitably lead to increased risk of exposure to COVID-19.
Doesn’t health & safety apply anymore??
Mcanthony being mardy arsed again...

Re the last paragraph..
I have no idea why Rotherham want to accept a fake promotion when they appear to be confident enough of their own strength to take part in an eight-team play-off which would lead to two promotions.”
.and Peterboro wunt I suppose in the same circumstances...give it a feckin rest man! Our only "crime" is to be in a promotion place when the season stopped. we didn't ask the bug to stop the season for us...
Also this gem
“Ipswich have put forward an amendment where you would see a 10-team tournament vying for three [promotion] places. Again, well done to Marcus Evans, at least he’s fighting to put something across,” MacAnthony said T
Just a coincidence that a shyte team that ipswich have will have a second bite of the cherry. Why not extend it to all 23 teams in the league to give them a chance as well?

So let me get this straight. ipswich are 10 points behind us and have played a game more than us (and many of the teams above them ) but they think they have the same right to go up as us! And Mcanthony is backing that yet he says what we are doing is unfair...Well done Marcus Evans he says!
Personally I hope Ipswich and Pboro rot in league 1 (and 2 hopefully) for many years to come.
Such arrogance! Who do they think they are?
Just as a side note we have taken 9 points off these teams this season and arguably should have been 10 if it hadn't been for the poorest refereeing non decision I have seen at any level for years.

Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony paid for the testing of his own players several weeks after accepting guidance from the EFL that League One would eventually resume.
Oh dear...there an owd saying up north owd lad....
an extended playoff would need to give some reward to teams finishing higher, like a bye to the final.
1st vs (8th v 9th)
2nd vs (6th v 7th)
3rd vs (4th v 5th)
but if this was an option then we might as well finish the season.
