Let’s be honest here, but for Sir Lawrence’s Iain Ferguson-esque goal we were really struggling to get something there tonight. But the bottom line is in these games against the teams below us that if we’re not going to win then bloody make sure you don’t lose and we did that tonight. Not great but not a disaster either.

Shanks goal was worth the ppv alone! Price for him just went straight back up. Imagine he did that at wembley? OYF

Yup, easy to forget how young the boy is. 17 is a hell of an age to be thrown in at the back. Unfortunately for him, f*ck ups tend to lead to goals against, so it's hard for him to get away with mistakes.

Ok would you have gone with 3 CB'S at home to St Johnstone? Because it could be argued that decision has cost us 2 points tonight.

Saturday away v Sheep definitely, tonight another bad decision from Mellon. Who I'm 100% behind by the way.

We had some decent wing back play in the 1st half from Robson and Smith but I don't see that happening with 4 at the back. The 1st 15 minutes especially we were all over them .

Giving away sloppy goals is our achilles heel and if we defended the high balls better then we win that game.

Our biggest problem is clear as day. We can't fkn defend headers. Every time the ball goes in our box I 5hite misel.

The 2nd half was poor but we actually played some decent stuff in the 1st half but we won't win games giving away soft headers.

That game tonight would have suited Edwards. The first goal was a replica of the Motherwell goal, we also carry little threat from corners, in fact we almost conceded from corner we had in 83rd min. Nicking goals from set plays can make a big difference over a season.

    Bang on there like....
We can't win defensive or midfield headers unless they are total 90 per cent in our favour. We can't win offensive ones either because of the height difference. We really struggle against whipped in balls from crosses, corners or free kicks. Wee bit harsh I know, but like yirsel, I get the fear when these things happen, and.... they do.... a LOT :/

Again, yup. We allowed them 24 shots tonight. Granted less than half were on target, but that's not the first, second or third time we've allowed opposition so many chances while creating very little ourselves. We were beat tonight had it not been for the worldy.
