What a cracking game of football. Both teams pressing at a frenetic pace. No way would England keep up with either of these teams in this game.

Italy worth an early bet for the World Cup if price is right.

I backed them with fiver after I saw their first game in the tourno. Decent odds at the time.

Big difference between them and is odds the quickness of their passing that pulls teams apart and creates much pressure and chances. We're well organised so far but slowness of our forward passing leads to few chances being created. So far anyway, there were signs of more flow as Germany tired and we have some good players that are capable of quicker movement if we get into a groove. It would be tight v Italy but think they'd create more chances and most probably take one or two.

Got to get through Ukraine first though! Up the lions!

Italy deserved the win tonight. Looked electric in every dept even the feigning injury and slowing the game down . Two great goals and the way they nullified Lukaku was perfect.

    Might have peaked too early

The slow development demonstrated by England might be a better plan.

We should be at peak in the final

We struggled against underdogs Scotland, ranked 44 by FIFA

Now a game against underdogs Ukraine ranked 24

    And it's not at Wembley

The frustrating thing about us for me raging is that we can see there is a pass on at times but we are so reluctant to do it, so turn sideways and backwards, and the part about the speed of the Italians passing was spot on and they look a real good side.
However, let's take one match at a time, as the pro's tell us, because whilst I expect us to win tonight, Ukraine are no mugs, and we will have to be at the top of our game to see it out. UTM
