    I saw a screenshot on twitter not too long ago confirming what nw6 said. Came out of the blue but I assumed it was genuine , no reason why it wouldn't be,

    Thought I’d imagined this but no;

    Wonder if the opposition were game planning for him...
    Quietest suspension of all time, even IB didn't know maybe Eli himself

    Out of interest, if it really is true why didn't the club make it public?
    The secrecy is the thing I don’t understand. Now waiting to hear that Cal was subsequently spotted biting a bat’s head off during the Yeovil game and is currently serving a 10-game ban.

    Is it too much of a stretch to suggest the given reasons for our garbage performance at Stockport were nonsense as well? I dunno, but something has been fundamentally wrong for a while.

    Me too. The club must have been fully aware of this, so why didn't they tell us?

    Anyway, Wootton, Ruben, Cal and Eli have 54 goals between them - that's our attack and all should play every game in a 4-2-3-1.

    Arter, Palmer, Francis, O'Brien, DKE etc could play 54 years and they still wouldn't have that figure combined.
    Play your gaolscorers, put the opposition on the defensive and you won't go far wrong.
    Trust your defenders to defend, they'll play better taking more responsibility than standing in a line of wondering if the others will make the challenge.
    This is what our squad screams out for to me.
    Fans who want a cagey, solid (or stolid) approach should petition for Keith Curle to be reappointed.
