The new stadium got a mention on last night’s BBC Scotland A View from the Terrace where the presenters suggested that they should to get to Dens Park for tomorrow’s Dundee v Kilmarnock game before the club move to a new out of town stadium.
Nelmsy will not be happy as they were not complementary about his new stadium preferring Dens Park with the Archibald Leitch designed Main Stand.
Sean McGuigan stated that the new stadium has been getting announced every six months.

The location of the proposed new stadium is withing the boundary of the City of Dundee. So where did they get this 'out of town' nonsense from? Have you been emailing them with your ridiculous theories? Or have you made that part up just for that post?
I would also prefer Dens Park to some soulless new build so can agree with Sean McGuigan (whoever he is) on that part.
Maybe Nelmsy will go into super drive slick salesman mode if they get planning......the football club needs him to.
This needs sold to the punters as much as the council.
Goodness knows who will be daft enough to lend the money to build his new stadium development considering Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited have already borrowed money at payday borrowing rates for commercial companies with their new stadium development site secured against their loan. This was surprising as Nelmsy had previously stated just over six months before he got this loan that Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited could easily get funding from financial companies in the City of London should there be any shortfall in the funding for the new stadium development at the Camperdown Leisure Park.
I heard that area of the site earmarked for housing is worth about £6 - £7 million assuming that Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited get planning permission to build houses on that part of the site.
95 million, 100 year mortgage, DSA 6,000 members ( laughed at that ) they have 21 I think, build it and they will come 🤔
This isnae meh question but how is a £95 million and a century long mortgage cheaper than 700 k a year.
