Not sure I agree that we need a centre forward… though that depends on Macca, what we do with Scott. We would have Jatta and Didzy under contract. That’s 4 players of good quality if all are here come August.
4 players are a must. A good keeper, 2 tough as nails CB’s and an older head in midfield (especially if JoB isn’t here). What is an absolute must is a genuine captain as well as a bigger squad we decent quality.
All of the above is very dependent on what players we don’t sell…how Matty Palmer is after his injury.
Sorry I should of said a center forward once Macca moves on which looks pretty likely...Morais is beginning to become a myth at this point...total wage stealer.... Scott is unfortunately very injury prone and McGoldrick just doesn't look like a decent option for next season...of course we have the legend that in Jatta but he can't do it on his own. Oh and to have Palmer back on the pitch again...he has been missed so badly its untrue.

Scott is injury prone? Really. Like Palmer he has had a big injury. I don’t recall him being missing at all before his knee injury.
I’m not as convinced that Macca will leave. I don’t think a club will come in with the required offer to tempt us and he has 2 years on his contract. Didzy would be very useful as back up and playing 35/40% of game time.

It’s a moot point though. The game was dead and Stockport played with less intensity. Woopi for Notts scoring 2 goals when the game was over.
Sadly the team and in particular Baldwin has no backbone when things started going wrong. They don’t have the individual or collective nous at this level to try and stay in the game. A proper leader is an absolute must when the recruitment team start putting their lists together. Someone on the pitch who can grab the game and the players around him by the scruff of the neck.

That’s what they did when they were in the NL, signed Sarcevic a proper leader, he totally changed their fortunes big time that season as they were struggling a bit before he arrived.

We just can't do that though, yes we are a bigger club than Stockport but financially they're in a completely different league to us. Their owner is a billionaire who's got more money than the Wrexham boys. There's a reason the likes of Sarcevic, Powell and Challinor ect all dropped down leagues to join them. Certain players in our squad that are under contract next season need to be moved on, but realistically who's going to take them that's our issue.

Yes it was just a joke im well aware they took foot off the gas and we got hammered.

Its not the end of the world is it losing football matches.

It's not the loss, it's the manner of the loss.

Come to conclusion SM and chuckle brothers nowhere near as professional as LW and RH. Feeling pessimistic about next season.
