Good post and I agree that Rawson might have been a useful signing.
Regarding Lyle Taylor , I was told by a Northern Premier League manager, that an agent offered LT to his club recently for £1k per week basic.
I certainly hope Scott Lindsey's name is on our radar if SM & Co are not upto the job in hand.

Not exactly anyone screaming out as quality. Looks more like panic buys after having their embargo lifted. Interestingly, all in year long contracts

Interesting to see MK Dons sold their young striker Max Dean to Gent in Belgium.

I think they're signalling their intent. There's some big guys at the club now.

Salford have signed Nottingham-born Ben Woodburn.

It's a big signing. He was Liverpool's youngest ever goalscorer and has a dozen full caps for Wales. Still only 24, but his career has obviously gone a bit off track since he took Michael Owen's record.

I can remember when Notts had striker Craig Lindfield on loan from Liverpool, he was highly rated, didn’t do much at Notts then basically fell out of the league a few years later.

Wasn't he the Muppet after scoring against us ran to the kop and stood there with his arms outstretched and got booed for the rest of the game before being taken off second half?

A few recent L2 signings of note...

    Jordan Davies (Wrexham to Grimsby)
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football...s/c703w01pkreo
I was surprised by this one. Always thought he was Wrexham's golden boy. Still only 25 and a good signing for the Mariners on a season-long loan.

    Bradley Dack (Sunderland to Gillingham)
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football...s/c303q3zgvevo
If they can get him fit he could be lethal. 50 goals in 150 games from midfield for Blackburn. Still only 30.

    Dilan Markanday (Blackburn to Chesterfield)

    Riley Harbottle (Hibs to Wimbledon)

    Notts lad. Linked with us.
