if one of Jatta and Jodi were sacrificed, who would you want to keep ?

Tricky one that. I reckon keeping Jodi as a supply line to whoever took Jatta's place would be my choice.

But JJ plays in the right.

We seem to be doing ok without resorting to those tactics so far.

The balance of the squad is just about right, we're no push overs and can stand our ground but can also play too. When Mullin plays, it's all about Mullin, he just wouldn't fit into what we are as a Club.

I think Mullin is a pantomime villain but fundamentally a very good footballer. I think he?d fit in just fine.
JJ seems to play a similar role as far as opposition fans are concerned.

This seems the most plausible scenario for me. A proven striker at this level whether Mullin, Macca or someone else) to replace Jattas goals this season and then Jatta?s actual replacement has the rest of the season to get settled in ready for next season.

Obviously I don?t want Jatta to go but if Plymouth or another club come in with a an offer the club can?t refuse and matches their valuation then it becomes of case of trusting the radar to have contingency plans in place accordingly.

Nah, if we're looking for an impact player to come in for the rest of the season and help us secure promotion, it's Mullin all the way. He scores goals, but he's much more than that. A complete nightmare defenders and knows every trick in the book. A genuine match-winner too.

Signing this Traore probably makes AJ staying more likely. Just like Jatta last year he?s going to get a visa, and is coming from a league that?s only just come back into pre-season so isn?t going to feature for a few weeks. Feels like getting ahead of the game for selling AJ in the summer.
This is how I see it. Drop a decent sum on this new guy, get him up to speed, sell Jatta for a million in the summer, and then the new guy storms it next season. Aaaaand repeat.

True. Hopefully this guy wouldn't replace him there either. I reckon he'd be used as a central striker primarily tbh.

If it even turns out to be true of course.

Mullins would be a good shout. Memories of Hughsie with all the dark arts at his disposal.
