I think there is a lot of promise in him, Neilson and Adam Hutchison over the next few years. I think along with guys like Fortheringham, Watson and Meekieson there is a **** ton of talent coming through over the next 2-3 years. Fingers crossed out of that group we get at least 2-3 guys go on to have top careers

10 times the wages for half the work! 😆
I saw some of the Palace U23 highlights on YouTube a few months ago, seemed to be a big part of that team and I'm sure I saw him wearing the captain's armband in a few of the matches, so obviously well thought of down there
I’ll never understand the logic of these guys like Banks. The chances of them making it through that sort of move at that age are negligible to zero. Scott Allan is obviously the prime example but even more recently you can look at Kieran Freeman as well as a further example. Compare and contrast similarly aged Scott Allan with Stuart Armstrong. One stayed and completed his dues, the other chased the filthy lucre. Look where they respectively are now.
I would argue they are the exceptions that prove the rule IMHO. I guarantee there are/have been many, many more who have conversely failed to make it by going too early. I think one of the major issues is agents getting in to these young guy’s heads and promising the earth while in reality all that’s important to the agent is their personal commission.
