I do not understand all the whohah about Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited submitting Planning permission in principle for their new stadium development at Camperdown to Dundee City Council.
Planning permission in principle is similar to Outline planning permission which could have been submitted immediately after their inaugural Pre Application Notification meeting in September 2017 instead of delaying in it until February 2024.

Have you started penning your objections yet? Are you willing to admit you were wrong about the plans only showing one access / egress?
There is no point submitting objections until Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited submit their full planning application.
Nobody normally submits objections to an Outline Planning application which is basically what is the Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited Planning Permission in Principle application.
A friend recently told me that in Canada an application for Planning Permission in Principle has to also show that the planning application is fully funded.
It is not my fault that Holmes Millar who designed the new concept plans for the new stadium development showed a vehicle exiting the new stadium car parks exit road towards the A90 Kingsway bypass of Dundee. They mist have taken the exit road from another new stadium concept design such as Hampden Park, Glasgow which they carried out for the SFA. No mention from Ian Maxwell, Chief Executive of the SFA about the new Hampden Park getting built.
I haven’t seen the plans on the Dundee City Council website.
I had look last night but I could not find anything.
Last year it was stated that the entrance road to the new stadium car parks would be from the A90 Kingsway by pass with a separate exit road via the Dayton Drive which is the current service road at rear of the ice arena, cinema and Premier Inn exiting at the mini roundabout on the Dundee to Coupar Angus road at the foot of Faraday Street.
At the second Pre Application Notification meeting in the Landmark Hotel on Monday 26th September 2022 it was stated that all the supporters buses would have to leave the stadium car parks after the end of every home game before any cars were allowed to leave the new stadium car parks.
Thanks for admitting the second exit at Dayton Drive was always in the plans despite your absolute insistence that this wasn't the case. It seems that because an artist's impression didn't have a Ford Focus entering or leaving from there that you've assumed there was no entry / egress planned.
They're now talking about upgrading the roads and roundabout at Dayton Drive / Coupar Angus Road to accommodate increased traffic and also has details for buses in and out with a bus turning circle included.
I don't think it's unusual to allow supporters' buses away before other traffic. The police regularly stop traffic on Kingsway at Old Glamis Road to let escorted buses on their way. It makes sense to be honest.
I'd expect that to be covered in the overall cost of the project given that it's an integral part of the project. I'd also hope that Dundee City Council would put up some cash for the overall development given that it will ultimately benefit all the fine people of Dundee.
