Thought I'd bump this thread given how well Notts CCC are going at Somerset. Looks like a very nice 3 day victory having bowled brilliantly (Dane Paterson just got 3 in an over) and batted very nicely too!

Great result - apparently the first time we’ve won a CC game at Taunton since 1985!

Yes, they’ve been much improved in the County Championship this year. They’ve managed to bring a couple of youngsters through and the bowling unit is much improved too. The batting is still inconsistent but was very impressive in this match with contributions right down the order.
It’s just a shame we messed up in the T20. That’s Notts for you, though. Same as the football club, I suppose!

Good results today with all other Division 1 games ending in draws. It means Notts have clawed back much of the ridiculous handicap they were given, and sit only 5 points from the top.

It could be a depressing day if Lancashire bat well and pull of a win chasing such a huge total, add to this that it looks like Warwickshire are going to win, which would all but end our chances of winning the title. Lets hope Notts can get early wickets, or make inroads with the second new ball.

I thought the top 2 went through to a final this year to see who is crowned champions?
