Jog on pal I haven't got the time or energy to get into internet spats with twonks. As I said I replied to people falling over themselves to say why they posted after Chesterfield and not Woking, I didn't reply to you. Your opinion literally means nothing and you spend your time trying to pull people up for not living to your posting standards, it's pathetic. Maybe people have stuff going on in their lives and forget to post or maybe like everyone knows a win against Woking won't generate the same traffic as a loss against Chesterfield. Have at it mate I really haven't got the energy to waste on you. I don't accept your well wishes, disingenuous as they are, so keep them. Enjoy.

And for the record, I think if you don't go to games you can still have an opinion on Notts or the team yes. I have only been to 4 this season and can still talk about Notts. I think it was the fact that you belittle other peoples opinions who go to the games whereas you don't go to many so that's a stick to beat you back with. I haven't seen them say it to anyone before you. I can't believe I've ended up in this situation again with you so I really will leave it there, you can reply what you like.

It was frightening now many times they won the ball from set pieces and crosses into our box.
Makes you wonder why we bothered hiring the defensive/set piece coach

Ah, I asked that in the match thread if he was still with us, question answered, although it triggers a load more tbh!

Alex Clapham is still with us. He provides analysis on the opposition to assist the Head Coach and players in preparation for the next game. He's not responsible for how the players perform when defending set pieces, that's down to the players following or not following his or the Head Coaches instructions.

We share the same view of course you can comment on Notts or the team in general whether you've been to 6, 16 or 26 games this season. People forget there are a few regular posters talking about the Notts team who haven't seen them in person this season for very valid reasons. Personally I don't talk in detail on any game I haven't seen but that's just my choice.

Let's be perfectly honest there is enough evidence out there that shows there is absolutely no correlation between the amount of games you go to and the quality or validity of your comments. You know who you are

I also don't think there is a minimum requirement of games seen required to not highlight, mock, belittle ridiculous comments (see Davy500 comment re Palmer aka our play of the season to date, as a prime example).

I have no problem with people using my move away from Nottm and my much reduced attendance at games as a stick. That's just life and it's just banter.

When my roundtrip to the San Sirrel lasted no more than an hour it was easy to be a ST holder and go to 95% of home games each and every season. I did it for 30+ years. When the last game I went to at the Lane against Eastleigh took 8 hours it's a little different.

As the old age goes if you can't take it don't dish it out. Seems fair to me

You are sounding more like Putin everyday, desperate, very desperate...... unfortunately (or fortunately) some of us have lived away from Nottingham on and off just like you, I lived just outside Keswick at one point and still had a season ticket over a number of years and travelled a very long way in a very long day for most home games (and some away), I also lived and worked in Frankfurt for a few years (again with a season ticket) and flew or drove back at least once a month to see a game, so although I appreciate the distance that your away there's quite a few who go beyond the call of duty and I think that it riles me when the distance excuse is rolled out.

I accept massively the economic / budget / health issues that people may have and that is a completely kettle of fish and I sympathise massively. This constant belittling of supporters like 'Durham' and talking in this code about 'your sources' is very condescending, and as I've said many times I won't comment on a performance if I wasn't there to see it with my own eyes, but that's my prerogative (rightly or wrongly but that's what I believe) all I ask is that you give posters like 'Durham' the respect they deserve and not judge people, there's been a lot of bad performances this season that have been masked by fortunate results, but unless you're there to see the good with the bad you won't know!

This is the bit that get's me.

Laddo, you want the board to be a 'better place' (whatever that is) by calling people out for being negative, but your constant belittling of people, and condescending remarks are really tedious and annoying.

How can you not see that the thing you are trying to rid, you are actually perpetuating?

I totally understand that it can be frustrating to hear a load of negativity on this board, but that's life dude. Learn to accept we all have differing views, and sometimes its ok to disagree, and say nothing.

He doesn't belittle me Keldsyke, its just the malicious actions of a very sad, demented person who is jealous of others being able to do what he cannot do..

You walk from Frankfurt then I'm assuming?

Edit: Bit of context - it's not a completely different kettle of fish at all is it? The further you live the more time (£) and travel costs you'll incur. It's one of the same.

I live just shy of 20 miles from the ground with almost non-existent public transport, CAM belt snapped on my car so it's either taxi to Bingham (£10x2), train return (£5-8) and ticket price (£20) then another tenner for some food and drink minimum. When I lived in Carlton I could've roly-polyed my way to Meadow Lane and walked back in less than 40 minutes.
