Certainly doesn't look like an attacking midfielder as some outlets are suggesting. More of a Fyvie type. Be interesting to see how he's deployed by Courts. The middle of the three would be my guess, so who misses out? Butcher or Pawlett? I can't see Fuchs being dropped.

Yeah old style number 8 we have been sorely needing along with a winger too nice week.

So from the middle of the park, Pawlett. My thoughts also. It then brings the question Pawlett or Clark up front, if indeed the Finnish boy is good enough to command a start. Clark could well be the one to lose his place in the starting 11 moving forward.

Ideally for me, providing everyone signed is good enough, we'd go -

    ..... Fuchs Levitt Butcher
    Niskanen McNulty Pawlett

Would still like to Appere wide left but it just doesn't seem to happen for him these days.

Yeah, I don't just mean this season though. He hasn't really set the heather on fire for a while now whenever he's been given the chance. Was superb under Neilson at times.

To be fair, this is a club that hired Graham Rix when he came out of jail for shagging a young girl
