Hardly a ‘diverting tactic’ though. For some reason I supposed we were concerned with today’s discussion, not something written three plus months ago.

Perhaps if you paid the same attention to what’s been going on over the last week or so as you have to dredging up a comment (not entirely unfounded as things have transpired) from the beginning of the year we might see some progress.

P.S. Just read the post concerned. Not sure I was ‘struggling with mathematical concepts’ as you suggest and the post was actually more about TTR’s distortion of the truth…again! Just sayin’.

Mm then all I can say is your rather clever at subtly and often not so subtly making statements that align perfectly with the views of a person who is right of centre and on occasion go further right than that. I mean I'm able to accept that your disguising your centre left view very cleverly, but suspect its your own assessment of where you are on the political spectrum thats colouring that!

After all, its generally the case that conservatives and I use a small c deliberately, think they are on the whole liberal minded and don't hold certain extreme views.

I mean your statement that there is an over representation of ethnic minorities on TV and media which doesn't reflect the world you live, does rather demonstrate, 1) a lack of awareness that maybe your world view is narrow and 2) For some reason the ethnicity of a person troubles you somewhat.

I only regard your comments as "stirring and shouting...." when it is calling for the head of someone who has slighted a fellow poster.

Otherwise, and I will only say this once and then possibly deny it later, your opinion on political threads is often interesting and thought provoking - especially when your original thought. That's not to say I will necessarily agree with it but it's intriguing to see other perspectives. Which makes it a shame that some, you included, have chosen not to challenge TTR on the basis of rAtional thinking as opposed to calling him thick and blaming the right wing press for everything.
