At no point in this have i ever looked for an argument, all i do is look for adult conversations on here, and i usually get that. But you consistently write things in a way that is looks like criticism, which appears to be based on half truths and conspiracy theories, and I simply feel it is wrong to let that pass! There have been others who you seem to get into "arguments" with, and i have to wonder why when I have had meaningful exchanges with said contributors?

You say "numbers just were not up with other three home nations at start which they did rectify after it was pointed out", to me is slagging them off, and is being totally ignorant to the fact that we were sticking to a plan that was formulated from the JCVI tables, that was slower because of the difficulties in delivering the Pfizer vaccinations in care home settings. The other nations did it different which is their right. There was no “pointing out”, that was just Ruth trying to create and issue that didn’t really exist because each country had a different objective, for which she now looks the fool!

I need a reply for this one, so please engage in the manner this is meant. Who was saying “they were not getting enough vaccine to give out while all other home nations were doing better”? I really don’t think that has been an issue. After batch assurance is complete, a 12th of what is received doon sooth is always allocated and held til its required.

Scotland have always done great in the vaccine roll out, just like every country in our union has done, we have just done it different, and should not be subject to comparative criticism!

This is supposed to be a more positive thread than the last, please help me keep that going!

Happy to see another arab has added to the glow at the end of the tunnel, along with members of my family. You will have to wait until tomorrow until you are part of my reporting though!

    Cohort 4, People aged 70-74 - 92% (90), Clinically Extremely vulnerable - 83% (80).
    Cohort 5, People aged 65-69 69% (64)
Cohort 6, 16-64 with underlying health issues i believe is also progressing.
Cohort 7, 60-64 which i believe is also progressing.

I hope the current apparent slow progress is down to more people in each Cohort, the slow down in vaccination supply and delivery, second doses ramping up, and not anything to do with people saying no.

The positive effects of Lockdown and the Vaccine are now starting to shine through, but it is far too early to open up again.

There was a steady stream of folk in my cohort (well that's how it looked) at the doctors tonight. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes, extremely well organised.

On the very day that the human race were probing Mars again Terence joined in the space race as the first Scot in history to receive the Sputnik jag.

    Congrats TTT.

They had even cleared all the Ferry pavements of snow for their high profile visit.
