Well thats what i picked up with your previous post.
I accept that with Siegrist it is time for a move, but i am baffled as to why Fuchs would be sold, unless the lad is having issues settling down. Any more after that and it reeks of what went before when all the family silver was sold for ever decreasing amounts in what appeared to be a fire sale in the end!
I really do hope im wrong, but i just see Houston walking out the door all over again!
I mentioned before McInness and Swiss Tony met just after he left the dons. I added 1 and 1 and maybe got 2 maybe got 3. I think we were interested - are we still now? Now could it be a Mcinness with courts assistant? doubt it. The courts rumours came from nowhere for me tbh.
Mellon knew he wasnt meeting the youth targets and wasnt going to compromise that until we were safe. Harsh on him i reckon but i wont miss that style of play in the slightest.
McInness would give the players and club a boost but i just dont know if he fits into Swiss Tonys management style. Managing a football team is just like making love to a beautiful woman.
McInnes with Court as assistant with an eventual view to taking over would be fine. But McInnes and Tony Doc are joined at the hip and also don't tend to bring in many young players as far as I can see, tending to go for experience over youth. Or maybe I'm doing him a dis-service. Either way, can't see McInnes fitting the Club's new 'strategy'.
Yes they are - i keep getting Tams name wrong such is his outstanding managerial history. Again i would back anyone and hope they do wonders. I think that would be a risky appt and makes no sense at all. Id like the doc back here as well tbh. It will probably be some left field appointment who knows.
"Dundee United hope to appoint a new manager next week. The Tannadice board are set to meet in the next 24 hours to move the process of appointing a successor forward. The Tannadice hierarchy are looking to take the club in a new direction with a greater emphasis on producing their own talent through the United youth system." (Daily Record)
So some strong rumours that it’s McInnes but that sentence above fae the record I’ve just posted would make me think it’s not him, unless he’s been telt - bring the kids through with your experience
