This must be what it’s like to be a Funster. Deep down we know we’re not as good as our bitter nearest and dearest rivals but we still get ourselves worked up into a frothing frenzy desperately clinging to words such as ‘hope’ and ‘pray’ in an effort to persuade ourselves that despite all that we will genuinely get a result. Then the game actually starts and once again it ends up in a total gubbing.
Hopefully like Funny Derby victories, this will be one of those random ‘came from nowhere’ results tonight!
