Gawd knows we have had some bad times down the years - but the last few days!!
But don’t forget we had three key players missing. What chance did we stand with 11 v 8?

Being optimistic:- perhaps these last few days just show that we are hopeless if the "first XI" is not available?

I think this was covered in earlier posts, tonight was about guts , nous and passion and not defending hoofed balls into the box , so the key defenders and keeper were not missed has much as they were at the weekend. Having said that wasn't the keeper at fault with their 1st goal ?

That was just rank bad management. Mitchell for Rodrigues sub was nuts, just get either Francis/Vincent on, pack the midfield a bit and see it through.

At least our current problems are only on the pitch, not in the Companies Court. Those were the really bad times.

I know the two are somewhat linked, but I've always been much more bothered about what goes on the pitch than off it.

I was thinking exactly the same. I wasn’t there, so don’t know what Doyle was doing, but he seems a LOT more reserved off the pitch to say the least.

I was angry after the game but more at the players I guess, they're the ones on the pitch who can't see a 2 nil lead out against 10 men though I'm not sure why Brindley was brought off for DKE. Trouble is once they scored one you knew they'd at least equalise, we are so soft we crumble like schoolboys. Not good enough for professional footballers. Still onto the next one. COYP
The DKE/Brindley substitution is an odd one. I think IB is part of the solution rather than the problem, but only so many more games can he point out what went wrong, got to improve, maybe some closely fought games but no more collapses. Will the players step up?

Just got back. Altrincham was an inept performance, we wouldn't have scored if we played all night, Woking was weak but better in parts but tonight was entirely on the manager, utter capitulation.
We ended up with three strikers on the pitch when we were crying out for an extra midfielder to be put on when 2 up to pack the middle where we are weak and just see the game out, keep the ball and get a third when they over commit.
The bloke is out his depth, he's been out thought by three managers in a week and I'm expecting more of the same from Darren Sarll at Yeovil.
