My main concern with Jones is twofold :

1. A right fit for us would jump at the chance to come here.
2. He would be off as soon as a better job came along as he thinks he’s above this level. Maybe he thinks he’s a chance of the Blades job.

Derby somebody said on here that managing rotherham in this league is the hardest job in footy and they are spot on. Even warney would say that. No money,little realistic ambition. It is what it is. The best we can hope for is a solid but unspectacular lower division club. To be fair to TS we will get that under his tenure. The odd points against the big boys now and again in this league is the best we can hope for. We will bloody some more noses on the way down. Enjoy those games.

I agree it is a very hard job, and yes a hard job scares people especially if they have delusions about the big job down the road. It just annoys me that some have such a low opinion of ourselves, that isn't having sully expectations a lot of us dealt with that allegation on another thread. If he thinks the job is too hard for him, that is about him not us, it is about his view on his capability another manger will want that challenge and that is the right man for the job because they have desire and determination to succeed, not wanting so called glory at a big name.
