Statistics for the week of the 19th through the 25th show MMadsters having a bigger hangover than the general Wordle populous. Hardest word was EXCEL on the 22nd with a 4.44 average (4.66 on MM) and easiest was SLATE with an astounding 2.82 average (3.29 on MM). This is the 'easiest' word on Wordle since NYT started keeping records and blew away the previous easiest (ATONE) with a 3.15 average in June.

That’s amazing the low score for SLATE but then I checked the stats for the most common starter words used and it’s right up there - so there would have been a whole bunch of people who got it on their first go.
