When we talk about deportations, then they should bear things like this in mind as well. Yep our lovely PM and his two tier standards.

First impressions? I don’t really know what all the fuss is about. No one takes much notice of the football tables in September and it’s equally unwise to make too much of local election results ten months into a five year GE term.
What’s actually happened? A Labour candidate in Cheshire, who’s predecessor was completely discredited by his stupid behaviour, has been very, very narrowly defeated by a former Tory who has moved to Reform. Lincolnshire, solid Tory ground, has elected another opportunist former Tory who has taken up with Reform to become Mayor.
Elsewhere it seems like a good night for Reform, an awful night for the Tories and a bad night for Labour but it wasn’t, imo, entirely unexpected.
Labour have had to do some unpopular things and I don’t necessarily agree with all of them. At the moment they aren’t popular but they do have a huge majority and at least another two years before they need to show real evidence of turning things around in a better direction.
We’ll see if Farage actually has anything to offer the country rather than his own well being. Personally I doubt it, but the thing to watch, again imo, is the changing relationship between the Tories and Reform. ‘New political landscape’? Heard it all before.

Really RA.
It wasn't 5 mins ago, Notts was a mining county, true working class. It was a bloody awful night for Labour and no coincidence that Labour spent all its energy in dissing Reform, rather than the Tories in the run up. They know they are leaking blood in the water, the people regret voting them in and are jumping ship. I suggest you look at the results in Millbands area, hes a dead man walking .
Look at the changes in Notts

You may not want to acknowledge a shift in the landscape, but try looking past your garden wall.

Because of course that's the most important topic at the moment? Mm Its funny when you seem to be easily distracted by culture war *******s like this. Too much swallowing the pap that's served up by most of the media disguised as news!
Still waiting for you to explain why you think there is such a thing as "good bullying" and why you think that operating without due process and regard to the law is acceptable with regard to actions on DEI, government administration and immigration. Guess I'll be waiting a long time it seems.
oh behave, it was the Labour party pushing these culture wars and Starmer was scared to upset them Even though folks had generally had enough of all the bull ****. The courts had to step in to put it right. Made himself look a right berk by refusing to answer the question fairly, and a foreign secretary who seems to believe men can grow a cervix? Either scared witless by the morons within, or just plain deranged themselves.
One problem with what our dim red friend is claiming, it wasn't one man, it was a deportation flight. Given Labour seem to ahve been deporting people (16,000 and counting) since taking power without having flights blocked, maybe it was the incompetence of the then Tory government who didn't ensure that all the legal issues regarding those to be deported were in place, rather than blaming the lawyers who quite rightly were challenging illegal actions. After all it shouldn't be beyond the competence of government to achieve what they want to do in accordance with the law.
But then I guess for some people, that doesn't matter, as long of course its not them, their relatives or friends who are suffering the consequences. I mean FFS! lets get the facts straight when making criticisms.
lol, you do realise, that those deported, are either volunteers or serious criminals, that we can send back to their own country now(eg Albania). I suggest you read the daily reports of violent, *** offenders, drug lords who they still cannot touch due to the ECHR. The one who won his case, because his son, would n't be able to get the chicken nuggets he loves, was beyond the stars and a yard stick as how ****ed up the judiciary is. (before you say it, Starmer was an active member in making these things law in the 2000's when he was a barrister). Now he has the cheek to say this nonsense must stop.
For you knowledge from full fact checker-
We don’t know how many of the 18,987 returns under Labour up to 31 January 2025, or the 24,103 returns under Labour up to 22 March 2025, were officially classified as “deportations”.
But we do know that enforced returns—the category of returns that includes deportations—only accounted for a minority of the total, 27% and 26% respectively.
