Maybe buy him and then loan him to Partick Thistle so that Jobby McCall can give him some proper coaching?

Shankland was free though. By all accounts we could be looking at spending half a million on a guy that's had one very good season at Raith and one good season at Dunfermline. Hopefully they are right as it seems like a bit of a gamble to me. Almost like a 'we have the money, so why not take the risk' type signing.

Ask the Pars YouTube boy Ben what he thinks of him. Regularly compares him to Shankland and even sees him as above Shankland in some areas.
Plenty footage on YouTube of his goals and all round play to give you a flavour of what he is like. To be fair I trust Neilson and Asghar's opinion on a player over any fans opinion including my own.
From what I can see though, he looks like he could be a fantastic signing for us. Give us great options up top and he feels like a natural replacement to Shankland once he sadly moves on.
The best compliment I can give Nisbet is that he seems like a bit of a mix of all the good points of Shankland and Safranko. That works for me. I really hope we get it done. I also dont think he'll cost anywhere near £500,000 this time around.
If you were to say to me we'd replace Sow with Nisbet I'd probably be happy with that.![]()
Pars Chairman ain't too happy with oor Robbie.
Feel like he's talking *******s with regards the English interest however. If Shankland didn't get his move last year and has no one interested in him up to now, I seriously doubt Nisbet has.

Nisbet keen to leave. Whether or not that's with us, who knows. Sounds like he was angling for the Hibs move in January.

Sounds like it. To be fair I think the Hibs rumour was around for a few days towards the end of the window so he had time to think about it. The United bid came at the last minute to try and hijack the deal. I still think United are a more attractive option right now. But obviously I am biased...
