Two of the states here that 're-opened' early are now reporting large spikes in COVID-19 cases and some cities are back to 80% of ICU being virus related. This data is all prior to the recent 'gatherings/protests/riots'. Doesn't bode well.
OK then back to the virus, Fergusion saying there would have been 25,000 fewer deaths if we'd locked down a week earlier.
Given that most people have already locked down a week before the official announcement then I think this is an overestimate.
So he's right about doing it earlier but wrong about the numbers IMO.
