Think we need a big target man to hold the ball up, win the ball up front and generally be a target to aim at when required. Doesn't need to be a goalscorer.

Soon as teams are in our faces, like most teams at our level, we resort to a kick up the park and we cannot retain the ball as we have generally no pace or physical presence up there...as good as clark is at it for his size.

I agree, but can anyone say what team in our league has a player like that? Rangers?--Morelos isnt that. Celtic?-nut. Aberdeen? That big donkey that does a bit here and there. Hibs--yep--Nisbett. Hearts--Yep, baldy guy. The rest? no so much. No easy to find.

The Dees have got Griffiths who is very good at picking things up and lifting things up but no you're right i'm struggling to think of many.

Rangers and Celtic don't really need them domestically because they can play their way through teams. Aberdeen have the big guy signed from Livi, Hibs have Doidge, Hearts Boyce and pace of GMS. County used to have giant guy up front, not sure if he has moved on. It's not just height though, we don't at moment have pace in behind. Sheridan for Dundee might be more of a target man, and pace of McMullan. St Mirren have Curtis Main, who is much in the mould of Derek Lilley, works hard up front, but doesn't score goals.

    Its in the post.

I'm not sure if that is the work permit or the striker though.

I take it that the other United are struggling for Cristiano’s work permit in time for Saturday.

    Not.
