Settle down funsters, we can only compare like for like, so United in the top flight at home to a 2nd tier outfit

We don't get favourable home draws very often so have only had two this century in those circumstances, Ayr at home 5500 and County at home 4000+ (the latter is/was seen as very poor for us to get in the Scottish Cup)

Let's just say, no Utd fan is bothered Curran is away, really not one, Nelson could be a good signing though

Very good result for the fun as you very very rarely win at any of the bigger clubs grounds (must be 15 years for a single win at CP, ibrox, Pittodrie, Easter Rd, Tannadice) although think even club 12 won at Hearts so they like a stinker vs struggling Dundee, looking at Hearts line up maybe not as surprising as at first glance, no naismith or ikpeazu, keena who just played against us for Dunfermline last week up front and didn't impress, no haring etc, new bombscare centre half shaugnessy (not the St Johnstone one)

Think it is just an indication that different teams need different players to add to their squad. We are lacking guile and creativity and that isn't Curran's game. Cant argue with his work rate and effort. Perhaps those attributes and his strength/aggression are better suited to the Dees current squad. Personally think it was good business for all involved.

Didn't play him through the middle too often, but he was always played as a forward. He struggled against deep defences with no room in behind. I think that may be why he will be more suited to games where opposition are coming at you more. He did score a few for us, although perhaps not a natural finisher.

Just strange that he gave a top defender a hard time last night, yet seemingly struggled against far weaker players....

Nah you're right mate. He didn't struggle at all and was fantastic for us.
