You just need to look towards Easter Rd for that answer because Nisbet is looking twice the player Shanks is unfortunately. He really is some player and is taking full advantage of having better players around him playing a far more attacking style of football.

Surely can't be comparing united to hibs this season? we were stepping up a league with pretty much the same team we had in the championship. while Nisbet went to a top 6 team who have players who are better than most of the league. Boyle, Mallan, Allan (i know not played much). Murphy, Wright so on.

Yeah i agree a lot of our team is average and have not got the quality we would ideally prefer but that was expected really. Would also help if we played a system that suited attacking football but again that would be down to the squad we have.

the statement of imagine what shankland could do with better service, totally agree. but comparing ourselves to teams like hibs is not great this season.

Where on earth am I comparing us to Hibs? I'm clearly stating how playing with better players has helped him compared to Shankland.

FFS, he’s smiling in the image (with his team mates) before you click on the video...

Body language between Shanks and Micky not great after the goal.

Thought he looked quite chuffed after - quite rightly as it was incredible goal.

He celebrated scoring v Killie a lot.

He’s obviously motivated and we just to need keep him as long as possible and get him the service

Your ability to find negativity in the most positive of things should be applauded my friend.

Like I said, I don't usually take much notice of these things but it's been bugging me since. Maybe reading too much into it, but it was a very muted celebration for a goal that was quite unbelievable. As LS has mentioned above, the body language between him & the manager wasn't good at all.
