At the time I completely agreed with him, as did others on here. Some people even thought we might finish mid-table.
So you can't really say we didn't try to equip ourselves better or do something different, because we did.
A ton of injuries, a manager with little tactical nous and questionable attitudes amongst certain players cost us this season.
