I love how the media quite deliberately ignores the real significance of the Downing Street parties. Here was a group of people at the heart of government, all the latest info and stats to hand. And they weren't afraid of Covid, they weren't worried about a 'superspreader' event, they weren't worried about killing their grandmothers, because they knew the truth, the reality, that Boris had been bounced into imposing restrictions by the Mad Scientists of Sage and the media, based on their spurious predictions and they were a complete and utter waste of time. The media wants to focus only on the contempt for the public aspect of it, and of course they were contemptuous, but for a good reason, the restrictions imposed were bollox, and they, being on the inside, knew it.

Still 12 months on, the majority of the public still haven't cottoned on, they still believe everything they're told by the Mad Scientists and mendacious politicians and act accordingly.

You are simply reinforcing the belief that there is "One Rule for the Eton Toffs" and one rule for the rest of us members of the cannon fodder proletariat mon ami.

You are missing the point BT, these people were not ignoring the rules and partying because they were privileged toffs, although that they may well be, they were ignoring the rules because they KNEW the rules were nothing to do with restricting the spread of Covid and all about covering the backs of the Mad Scientists and their political masters. Even the privileged have a well honed sense of self preservation, if they thought they were in way, shape or form risking their health by partying, they would not have been partying.

"Old Bob" update. My father-in-law is a fairly decent human being, paid his taxes, done his bit in the military, married for 67 years, raised his daughter and done everything just about right. These rule breaking Tory tw@ts are taking the pi$$ big time.

Bob's been in hospital now for TWELVE weeks and it was being discussed about a move to a Respite Unit within the next 48 hours.

My wife has just been informed her dad has contracted the OMICRON virus. It's not only Johnson who is taking the pi$$.

    Well said Sean...

Conversely, Burnley manager Sean Dyche revealed that he does not "preach to the players" on vaccines, but Norwich's Smith described the Canaries as "highly vaccinated".

Dyche added: "We certainly have players who don't have the full vaccination. Everyone has a choice, personally I have all three as I think it's right to do so."

Bit strange from Dyche when he has a player hospitalised with the alleged aftermath of the jab. Same goes for Lindelöf at United, who is also reported to be "very ill".

Project Fear in the media continues unabated.

Some child care expert on GB News, arguing for jabbing children, said that young people were being hospitalised by Covid at the rate of 1,000 a month. I've just checked the Government website, the total number of young people (6-18yo) hospitalised by Covid since the pandemic began, over 20 months ago is 6,300, an average of around 300 a month.

On Sky News last night, an expert from Swansea University said there were 10,000 Covid patients in hospital in Wales and 200 in ICUs, the actual figure is 400, not 10,000, and 39 in ICUs, not 200. There aren't even 10,000 people in hospital in total in Wales. And it's Swansea University that does the Covid modelling on which the Welsh government bases it's Covid Policy.

We are being run by politicians, scientists and a media who are complete and utter strangers to the truth, congenital liars, and still the vast majority of the public appear to believe them and trust them. Beats me.

I can only give one answer ,strange as it may seem? Somewhere ,some person from some ''economic forum,'' has told Boris and company, that if 'WE ' don't 'reset the Worlds economies,' Humpty Dumpty is in for a fall? And all the Kings horses and all the Kings men ,will not then be able to put Humpty Dumpty together again! Whether the wall is called Capitalism or Communism, Humpty Dumpty is in far a fall!

'Masks Don't Work,' Episode 1,277 of this long running saga.

"A number of MPs, including Lib Dem leader Ed Davey and Labour’s shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves, announced they are self-isolating after testing positive for Covid. Jim McMahon, the shadow environment secretary, and Bridget Phillipson, the shadow education secretary, also revealed they had tested positive"

All sit on the mask-wearing Opposition benches.
