Not sure that any of our forward players fit into the category, but i want a striker that will get us a number of goals and for Watt its 41 goals from 195 appearances, so its a no from me! Still need central defenders and midfielders before we add to the forward line again.

Should be a good appointment. Ironic that he joins now, have we not been linked with him a few times over the years?

Also surprised given his form last year that he’s not a player-coach, could have been handy and saved us one keepers wage.

Sound appointment. I did think a coach/no.2 was the plan when Garden left, as three potential no.1s when Deniz is fit seems a bit much.

Deniz deal was extended because the club don't want to be seen to cut injured players loose. Show to players out there that the club does right by people. Which hasn't always been the ethos at Tannadice in recent years in all departments.

I think the expectation will be that Mehmet will be away once recovered.

This has been some turn over in players. On the back of the most recent signings does the squad now look line this?

    Seigrist/ Rakovan

Wardrop, Franz, Murdoch (but hopefully Morris), Booth (Robson as cover)

Aird, (any 2 from Rabitsch/ Stanton/ Fyvie), King (McMullan as cover)

    Clark/ Curran/ Keatings/ Matty Smith
