The era of the text message is much maligned but for those who are stuck between 4 walls it will be uplifting to be able to communicate with the outside world without going out into it.

The biggest problem is going to come for those old folks who are physically active. I suppose they could maybe work out at home or do yoga or summat

Then again I don't see why they can't go out and have walks in the countryside as long as they avoid busy places even if it's only once or twice a week

Useful link for those who suffer mental health probs linked to corona virus

Had to smile about folks doing things around the house to alleviate mental health problems if they are under house arrest. I suspect a lot of wives would love their other halves to get on with some painting, cleaning, decorating and renovating instead of watching telly or being on a computer. I know mine would.

Regarding the elderly, me & my wife have lived next door to a old man for 9 years, my wife did his Sunday dinner & a meal in the week, over the 9 years, sadly he passed away at the age of 99 years about 6 weeks ago, we attended the funeral.
His family hardly bothered with him, son came once a week, his 2 grand-daughters came twice a year for birthday & Christmas money, But at the funeral it was how the family had been there, done meals for him etc, when actually they did not care, they all came out of the woodwork at the funeral, me & my wife could not believe the sh*t what was said.
What i am getting at is a lot of families don't bother until its too late, me & my wife are 68 years old, our family come regular, & text or phone us to see how we are.

Most schools and colleges around the world are closed. Is that a good move or a bad move by our government to keep ours open?

Heard rumours from staff in schools they will be closed v soon cayton. Think the issue is with child care when kids are off.
