Well then?
Will you be taking your chance to swear allegiance to your new king?
What an opportunity, how inclusive , this is what a modern monarchy looks like.
It's not just for the toffs now, we can all join in.
You heard him - back to deludedville, Mr Supposition!

I don't see why we have to swear allegiance to Joey Harper, but I'm up for it anyway.
This pretty much sums it up. Not a particularly well balanced argument from Mr Baker, more of a rant, so in short:
It's a load if self-celebratory and self-serving sh*t for a billionaire, at the cost of around £100m to the tax payer, and is sometiing that the majority of the population couldn't give a toss about. And it's a pointless ritual that no other monarchy bothers with.
God save the king.

Is the new phone alert going to be used on Corontion day, sounding at the time we all need to chant at the top of our voices
"I swear that I will pay true allegiance to your majesty, and to your heirs and successors (including Andrew) according to law. So help me God."
It's all a bit Gilead.
Channel 4 last night had The Windsors Coronation special followed by Frankie Boyles take on the Monarchy- haven’t seen either yet but both will be an antidote to the wall to ****ing wall coverage that will be on every other channel this week
Harry Enfield as Charlie in the Windsor’s is genius
