Don't wear a mask if you don't want to, don't get vaccinated if you don't want to but don't expect to be able to do exactly what you want and have the same access to venues. I really don't hear any medical opinion saying anything other than wear a mask, get vaccinated and if you have symptoms get tested.
I have previously posted on here that prior to my wife receiving her first Covid vaccination I said to the retired GP administering her vaccination that the Covid vaccinations were not stopping the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
The retired GP “We know that but until the Government tells up to stop giving people their Covid vaccination we will continue to do so”.
People working for the NHS are not allowed to speak out and tell the truth for fear of losing their job while retired medical professionals can tell the truth without the fear of losing their job.

Is it ok to party like a Tory, or visit second homes like an SNP employee

What do you think would have happened if the advice had been, the vaccines will not stop the spread of the virus without any additional explanation? It is undoubtedly a fact but maybe there are other facts that you could choose to illustrate that getting vaccinated is a good idea? Just for once, how about saying something positive about the void vaccine programme.

Doesn't fit with his conspiracy theory. Any of his conspiracy theories.

No it's not. But I don't think that because someone in authority, to use an old fashioned phrase, behaves badly that means that it is acceptable for everyone to behave badly.

You, and others no doubt, may find my comments unbelievable but I don't think they are untrue. I think vaccines have helped to reduce the loss of life caused by the covid19 virus. Do you agree? If vaccines do not stop the spread of the virus, should simple measures like wearing face masks and working from home for example, be encouraged? If you disagree, what do you think should be done? Telling someone like Nicola or Boris that they are wrong is not the answer, IMO. Giving them alternative courses of action seems to me, to be a better way to achieve changes in covid policies.
FWIW, I think the working from home instruction/suggestion is unnecessary and will cause significant problems for retailers and the entertainment and catering industry. I would have encouraged people to get vaccinated and tried to find a comparison with the death stats for last year with this year.
I will apologise if my optimism about the vaccination programme proves to be wrong and we do go into lockdown and furlough this winter.

Yes vaccines stop you getting seriously ill they do not stop you catching covid.

No masks etc because the mountain of evidence that says they DO NOT WORK.

Going into lockdown is a political decision nothing to do with covid......they know it does not work, they know the misery and death lockdown causes.

You want to restrict my life, got news for you......it ain't happening.
