Maybe they should ask Netflix or Disney to bring the cameras in for a season? Welcome to Barnsley!

I understand the Box Office was rammed yesterday with old fellas hoping to catch a glance of scantily dressed twenty something girls cavorting in the back office with players.

Barnsley FC chief Neill Collins seeking to avoid 'further distractions' amid key time in League One season for promotion-chasing Reds.

Good luck with that one Neil.

It is a laugh - cos there’s always another story around the corner.
But in saying ‘there’s summert not reyt darn theer’ - there’s also summert that’s very good darn theer.
And that includes the players we’ve seen at Oakwell in recent years.

Theres a good post on BBS at the moment underlining that.
    It’s discussing the scouting system.
As far as I’m aware there isn’t much of a scouting system now in the old sense of the word - but it’s still a good read.

If just half of those players mentioned were still at Barnsley we’d have at the very least an excellent Championship team.

None of them were signed under the present Board leadership.

Being a relative regular poster newcomer to this message board following your ban from BBS you will not appreciate that "Summat's not reyt darn theear" is a long standing running joke phrase going back many years, a phrase I think first thought up, but certainly widely used, by our much loved and departed Roma in characteristic Tarnspeyk humour.
