Why oh why do they inflict these wretched pundits on us, they’re completely unnecessary; Rio Ferdinand and Micah Richards, two thicker specimens you will struggle to find. Add Jug Ears and there you have the most compelling reason to turn the TV off!

The commentary, too, was irritating, Shearer should keep his mouth shut, he’s not needed, we have eyes to see what is happening. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was an option to have crowd noise only?

I agrre with you ,the pundits do my head in . Ist non Albion game I have watched on the tele (pc) for a long time .
2nd half was hard work , had my You tube mix on rather than listen to the commentary.

A lot of punditry is unlistenable these days, especially having grown up with the likes of Brian Moore and John Motson. Nowadays it's a nauseating borefest and the bias is ridiculous.

However, I don’t know if you’ve watched any golf recently?

I only watch the majors but I’m mightily impressed with Henni Koyack on SKY, she’s really informative and has the most wonderful voice.

The golf punditry is a million miles ahead of football.
