Queens need someone in place to take over the day to day running of the football club.
Hopefully someone who’s good at PR 😉

Uncle Davie is very much on their side and has apparently blocked any shares the Trust were going to buy off him after a committee member badmouthed the club.

I spoke to a local reporter yesterday and he can’t get a hold of Mr Hewitson as he refuses to answer his phone or return his calls.
    Poor show from the Chairman.

The thing is , maybe Mr Hewitson does more good for the club than we actually know but if he doesn’t tell us then supporters will make up their own minds.

    His PR is atrocious

Good morning folks. First of all, - we must remember that we are in the middle of a very serious pandemic with huge ramifications for all clubs in Scotland, - so it would be extremely unwise for anything to rock the boat any further in the middle of a precarious storm.

Mr. Hewitson will be the first to acknowledge that he is not a man who likes to be in the limelight, - and I can empathise with him. Regardless of his stance on the media, - that does not make him a bad man, but people ganging up on the BOD and plucking allegations out of thin air without substantiating them, is tantamount to public bullying on the one hand, - and does not do the club any good on the other, - when those making the allegations know that the BOD will not retaliate.

Furthermore, - firing bullets, - live or otherwise is simply going to deter anyone from investing in the club, - so perhaps a ceasefire is in order?

The BOD have many more issues that they are coping with, - that we don't know about, - nor do we need to know, - those matters are private. What concerns the fans (or should concern them more) quite rightly is the form of those on the playing field, - and the fans are absolutely right to voice their opinion when things are not going well. Equally, I will reiterate my personal opinion once again, Queens have been extremely unlucky in front of goal this season, but that can't continue forever, - and one of these days someone is going to be on the end of a thrashing.

Perhaps Johnny is the most astute on this board when he says "The thing is , maybe Mr Hewitson does more good for the club than we actually know but if he doesn’t tell us then supporters will make up their own minds."
He is also correct to state that "His PR is atrocious"- but the club have asked in the past if there is anyone out there, - who has the ability and the time to offer their support to boost the PR of the club.

The BOD are not media savvy and its easy for others to point fingers and criticise, - but once again offer nothing to really support the club.

Perhaps the time has come for someone to offer their help to the club in the middle of this pandemic to help them with the PR side of things, the weekly blog as Francis as suggested and to help heal the wounds that have opened between the club and the fans?

An open dialogue is urgently required, - but without the proper tools at their disposal, the club will struggle.

Finally, - I cannot and will not say that some things could and should have been done better at QOS, (in life, when we reflect, it is easy to see where we could have done better) but for the mental health of the BOD in a very stressful pandemic, -may I politely suggest that we cut them a wee bit of slack?
