    Agree totally with that.

ODB, the Saints fans last week were not sporting colours - except a dreadful mustard duffle coat by one - and they definitely moved from the away section in the New Stand to the terracing.

It would be a great shame if this gate was permanently closed as being able to move from stand to terracing and vice versa aids to the match day experience for a lot of people. It's a good point that kids seldom sit on their back sides for a full game and it could hurt the club if this freedom is lost. There may be a point of capacities to individual sections but in games like yesterday i really think a little thing like common sense could be used.
Drummerboy makes an excellent point that the stewards were only carrying out club orders and some idiots only came down to goad the stewards at half time and shut up when the police appeared.
I am sure the gate will be there next saturday perhaps with some justice but i would hope for "normal" league games it could lie open with no problems.

The "gate" has been open for both Hibs matches and the previous Hearts match without any problem whatsoever.

If the fans on the terraces are not allowed access to the toilets on the New Stand, how many toilets does that leave them with access to?

We are only the paying customer, WangKer, so our comfort and enjoyment of going to Queens' games is probably not very relevant, or that seems to be the impression that these latest restrictions imply.

It is quite clear why the stewards were instructed to act as they did on Saturday, but it is a case of locking the stable door after the horse has bolted.

Common sense must prevail and some demarcation within the east stand must be vigilantly patrolled by the stewards to avoid any unsavoury incidents, such as the one which occurred at the St. Johnstone match.

It may be of- course that the gentleman from Perth was ejected for wearing an offensive coat?

Come on Queens, football is meant to be about enjoyment and suddenly deciding to close a gate due to someone deciding to walk through from the away support is not the solution. The solution is proper stewarding of the demarcation line.

Why? Because that is the potential flashpoint. What if 100 Hearts fans (this Saturday) decided to attack the Queens fans in the immediate vicinity of the demarcation line? Having a locked door to the terracing is not going to prevent that is it?

Indeed, it would be more sensible to have the gat

Great post Jardi . The incidents at the St Johnstone game only happened because of no segregation . We've had bigger away crowds this season ( Hearts & Rangers ) which passed without incident & surprise surprise , there was proper segregation in place & the Terregles St terrace was open .

The Queens fans shouldn't have to suffer because of a mistake by the club underestimating the St Johnstone support and not opening the terracing

3 urinals in the new toilets behind the Police Box . Noticed on Saturday that the roof is coming in in these toilets already

Not only were they provoked but the young fans were for some bizarre reason being filmed by these two nuggets .

If you'd done that on the street you'd be arrested
