It sounds as though he's taken the Aberdeen job for something like novelty value because he's never managed a Scottish club before.
He'll certainly start with a baptism of fire as his first game is against Rangers and I think he said the one after that was against Celtic!
He said money wasn't the attraction as he'd been offered a lot more last week to manage a club in England to the end of the season.
Just out of interest he has a place in Dunoon but that's on the opposite coast to Aberdeen and is probably a good 4 hours drive away.
