I came on to this thread to try and help Inversneckie (with my very limited knowledge),
I have now found out i maybe colour blind (that top image is phucking blue) and my Ray-Bans are p1sh.
Had bettter Sundays.
Aye, I'm getting auld too.
Limited edition stuff though.
Purple as purple can be, will maybe appeal to one in a thousand, but they'll love them.
Add to that, superb quality, non of your rayban rubbish.

Hey
If you’re raybans are over 5 years old they might be a’right.
I wouldn’t go buying new ones though.
I have two pairs of Ray-Bans,
One pair are over 5 years old the other are about 2-3 years old.
What is the difference as i notice with the newer ones my vision isnt as good?
They are not presciption as i wear contacts.
I am not trying to be being smart, i always value someones opinion that know what they are talking about.
Nothing to do with your vision I wouldn't think.
Well, I've never actually thought about the quality of the lenses being less than before.
I'm thinking about it now though, you may well be right.
It's the quality of the frames that's the most noticeable.
I'm expecting delivery of these purple vinylize tomorrow.
There will be nothing wrong with the lenses but I will probably re-glaze them before I put them on display.
I'll go for a "rayban" green tint on CR39 lenses with a multicoat on the back surface only.
You don't have to understand these things, just trust whoever sells you your specs to understand these things.

There shouldn't be any power in either pair, are the lenses different colours? that could make a difference.
Hey, that's no problem.
Purple frames have arrived.
They are in the window for anyone who thinks they might be blue
